Jelena Kolomejac is a senior creative with a hard to pronounce name. For this reason she has also been known to respond to, “Hey, you with the face.” To preserve her dignity, she hopes you’ll just learn how to pronounce it correctly.

She has worked on a variety of brands ranging from snacks, to tech, sodas and juices, and most recently paint and stains. She’s worked with famous humans, non-famous humans, real animals, CGI animals, and even puppets.

She made her first ad when she was 11 years old. Her dad directed it and they starred in it together (budgets were small). After that she took a weird path away from advertising and tortured herself by studying finance for 4 years before finally returning to her creative roots as an art director. In this case it was not the journey but the destination that mattered, because that journey was full of complicated numbers and equations, and Jelena wasn’t about that life.

When she’s not making ads you can find Jelena frolicking around San Francisco, complaining to her friends about something annoying that happened in 2003, oil painting food, escaping to her AZ desert roots, or learning how to bake desserts like her mom’s famous baklava.
